1. What is global roaming?
Global roaming makes it possible for you to log into your Pacific Internet account and access the internet or retrieve your email from almost anywhere in the world. The connection to your Pacific Internet account is made via a secure worldwide network of ISPs and because you are connecting through us via a worldwide network you won't pay for an international (IDD) phone call and the internet connectivity charges will be billed in Australian dollars on your Pacific Internet account.

2. How does it work?
1. End-user launches software on their laptop, PDA or Pocket PC.
2. A local connection within the secure network is located.
3. Your login details enter the network and are routed to our iPass Roam server.
4. Our IPass Roam server contacts our authentication server to verify your details.
5. Our authentication server checks your login details and relays a pass or fail back to the roam server.
6. The roam server sends a Yes or No back to the local connection you are attempting access through via the iPass network.
